Cylinder is drained of gas, the valve is removed. The cylinder is tested to standards set forth by the DOT/CTC/CGA. The cylinder is rinsed and thoroughly dried. This test is normally combined with a separately priced Visual Inspection

Visual Inspection 1 year
|
Cylinder is drained of gas, the valve is removed. The cylinder is inspected internally and externally in accordance with standards set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT), and the Compressed Gas Association (CGA). Aluminum cylinders also receive an eddy current test to check for cracks in the neck threads. The cylinder neck is cleaned and the O-ring is replaced, the valve installed on the cylinder and tested for leaks. A decal of inspection is affixed indicating the date of inspection (good for up to 1 year) and fill service (Nitrox, Oxygen)

Regulator / Air Delivery Systems

Completely disassemble the 1st, 2nd and Octo. Clean in a special solution, rinse, dry and carefully inspect all parts for damage/corrosion/wear. High pressure and low pressure seats are replaced along with all dynamic O-rings, exhaust valves, and high pressure filters. Static O-rings, hoses, diaphragms and mouthpieces are carefully inspected for wear and replaced as necessary. The system is then reassembled, pressure tested and tuned to factory specifications.

Completely disassemble inflator mechanism and dump valves clean in a special solution, rinse, dry and carefully inspect all parts for damage/corrosion/wear. Inspect buckles, clips, seam and bladder. Reassemble pressure test for leaks and proper operation.

Cylinder Tumble
|
The cylinder is dry tumbled with the appropriate abrasive for the cylinder composition, The cylinder is blown out with high pressure air, rinsed with an environmentally safe detergent to remove all contaminates, dried and then reassembled.

Oxygen Clean Cylinder and Valve Assy
|
The cylinder interior is rinsed with an environmentally safe detergent to remove hydrocarbon contaminates, drain, rinse interior and dry thoroughly. The valve is completely disassembled and cleaned in an ultrasonic bath. The valve is reassembled using Viton O-rings, Teflon washers as required, all parts are assembled with Cristolube. The neck O-ring is replaced with a Viton O-ring an installed on the cylinder.

Estimates: We will gladly furnish you with an estimate of the repair prior to any work commencing. We will not perform any repair that exceeds the original estimates by $20.00 without your approval.

Incomplete Equipment: We do not accept or repair individual components (for example, a 1st Stage) nor do we perform partial repairs.
